Guide Fees

All Wales Official Tourist Guides Association members are responsible for negotiating their own fees.

Fees are a matter of negotiation between the tourist guide and the client, based on the client’s requirements, eg location, duration and Language spoken.

Outside peak periods fees may be lower than the illustrated rates. Please enquire or let us know the budget that you are trying to work to.

Notes

Vouchers, or cash, to cover all disbursements during the Tour should be provided PRIOR to the commencement of the Tour. When providing transport a safe seat with a safety belt for the Guide and a working microphone and PA system must be provided. Full payment is due within 30 days of the date of the invoice submitted.

1 Month notice or less
(for tours of more than 1 day)
7 Days notice or less
48 Hours or less

These are payable EITHER by the hirer when an alternative engagement is not found for the Guide, OR payable by the Guide when a replacement acceptable to the hirer is not found.
